By the end of February, COES will have opened the new distribution centre for the Central-Southern Italian markets at its plant in Ascoli Satriano.

COES wants to be as close as possible to the needs and requirements of its customers, guaranteeing a high quality service in terms of availability of material and speed of delivery.

The areas served will be Abruzzo and Molise, Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Calabria and Sicily, while the product lines stocked in the warehouse will be Coesklima Superk and Coesprene, which account for about 70% of the turnover and are both already manufactured in Ascoli. Coestherm, which represents 18% of sales, will shortly be available too.

The warehouse, equipped with the latest information technology and linked by network to the headquarters in Pioltello (Milan), occupies an indoor area of 1,000 sq.m and 2,000 sq.m of outdoor loading space.

The organisational project envisages centralised and controlled planning at Pioltello, a daily shuttle service between plants (Pioltello - Ascoli Satriano) to guarantee procurement of materials and the transferral to Ascoli of the customer orders prepared by head office, centralised order management by Customer Care in Pioltello, to which all customers will continue to refer for all their needs, and, lastly, the complete delivery of the order with the material prepared in Ascoli and Pioltello.

The plant in Ascoli therefore represents an important asset for the COES Group, which is confirmed as the only company to have a production installation in Southern Italy.
